Fifth Grade to Hershey Park!~ May 10th

The fifth graders arrived to school to see a word scramble and two Hershey kisses on their desks. Soon enough they began to unscramble the surprise: "Fifth grade to Hershey Park May 10th!" Needless to say, they are more than excited. The new countdown has begun. 55 days to go! See a short clip of our morning glee.

Hard at Work!




These boys are working so hard on their research reports! You can hear a pin drop, as they are so focused on their writing. Rough drafts are due Friday. It is "all business" in Room 215.

10th Age Visitors!

Today two homerooms from the tenth age came to visit. We had so much fun including them in geography and math classes. In geography we used clay to create maps of Central America. We look forward to welcoming the rest of the tenth agers next week.

Israel vs. Iran

After learning about the Middle East, our students are researching the conflict between Israel and Iran. They have each interviewed someone about this topic and then wrote about their findings, along with their own points of view. They spent time this morning sharing their written work with each other. We definitely had some great debates!
